If you have recently seen The Dig on Netflix, you may be curious to find out more about Sutton Hoo.

The ancient royal burial ground of Sutton Hoo was discovered in the 1930s, revealing an ancient warrior King’s Tomb and a whopping 27m Anglo-Saxon ship containing it. Treasure from the ship can be found in the British museum and exhibition hall at Sutton Hoo.

In this Suffolk staycation series vlog, I take you to see the mounds, attempt to explain some history, lounge in an Anglo-Saxon throne and go for a scenic walk through the woods and riverland. It is a definite must for your things to do in Suffolk!

Suffolk is an amazing place for a staycation and i cannot wait to share some of my favourite places in Suffolk with you through these vlogs!
